Fried Chicken Without Oil

Alat: 12” Electric Skillet

8 pieces upper thigh chicken
1/2 buah lemon, take the water
1 sdt salt
1/2 sdt white pepper powder

This technique of cooking fried chicken without oil is quite familiar in Indonesia. Sautéing using little or no oil can be done in a skillet over high heat. If you ask, can you sauté without oil? It certainly can! The key is to replace the oil with plain water or broth. Don't forget to stir your food regularly so it doesn't burn.

There are many ways to process chicken-based food. Even though Indonesia is famous for its rich spices, the chicken itself can be served with a sweet, savory, thick sauce for a predominantly spicy taste. A meal is not complete if it is not accompanied by fried side dishes such as bakwan and fried chicken. But actually, there are many alternatives to healthy cooking, you know! So, how do you cook healthy but delicious food without frying? The following are tips for making fried chicken without oil that we have summarized for you.

How To Make:

1. Rub the lemon juice, salt, and pepper into the chicken. Leave it for 10 minutes to absorb it.

2. Preheat a 12" electric skillet to 230 degrees Celsius. Try it with water.

3. Position the chicken with the bone down. Set the timer for 30 minutes.

After 15 minutes, turn the chicken over.

4. Cook again for 15 minutes. Lift. Serve with salsa (see page 207).
